Spanish Professor

Farid is a native of the Guanacaste province, and is a celebrated figure in the folkloric arts scene, famous for his performances of “retahilas” and “bombas” (traditional, humorous poetry). He has participated in many folkloric festivals around the country, been featured several times on national television, and continues to be active in nationwide culture initiatives. Farid studied Teaching English & Spanish as a Second Language at the National University and worked with the MEP (ministry of education) for several years as a teacher before joining Intercultura as a Spanish Professor. In his free time, in addition to his cultural activities, he enjoys playing sports, horse riding and spending time with his friends.
