Claudia Kiebl, MA
Claudia is from Austria where she received her Master´s degree in International Business Administration in 2008, with specialization in international management and logistics management. As she has always been interested in foreign languages, she went to Madrid after her studies and completed an internship in logistics at a Swiss company. Seeking for more opportunities in order to see more of the world and to improve her Spanish skills she came to Sámara in 2009 where she worked at a hotel. Captivated by the beauty of Costa Rica and the warm hospitality of the people, Claudia decided to stay after finishing her hotel internship. Besides working as a waitress and administrator at a restaurant, she joined our Intercultura Team in Student Services in 2013. This way she can use her organisational talent and openness when dealing with people from different cultures. Today she handles all of Intercultura´s student enrollments and supports any administrative optimization project. In her spare time she loves going for a walk on the beach, reading, puzzles, fitness and Yoga. In Austria Claudia enjoys snowboarding.
“Dear Claudia, for a year you and I have been corresponding via email as you helped me decide that Intercultura was the place for me!
Because of you— your kind, patient, information-rich and prompt responses to my questions and concerns— I chose my immersion program.
Little did I know that you set the tone for my positive two-week experience in Heredia. I stated in my graduation speech, “Mi experiencia en Intercultura fue mejor de lo que imaginé gracias a todos ustedes, el grupo de personas más amable que conocido.” When I saw Adelita Jimenez in the office I shared this with her. So, to you I say muchas gracias!” - Dianne Faieta, January 2024
"Very pleased with the whole process; From registration, and airport pickup to the lessons. Campus nice and location fantastic." - Ingalena Bengtsson
Hello Claudia, even though it has been a few days since we left Sámara, I would like to thank you all again.
Our language course last week was a lot of fun and I think we learned a lot that we can now use on our trip through Costa Rica.
The school is very well organized and from the pick up in Liberia to our last course day, also with our mama tica, everything worked out perfectly. Many greetings to all of you. - Thomas Schoenrich and Christine Meyer, 2023
