Language Immersion Vacation – More Than Just Learning a Language Abroad

A language immersion vacation provides more than just a way to learn the language and experience a new culture.

Language immersion vacations give students an instant social network and a group of friends with whom to explore the country and enjoy time outside of class. This is an important plus for those travelling alone, and applies to people of all ages and backgrounds. At Intercultura Costa Rica, we have students from around the world, many of whom are travelling independently. Our oldest student so far was 84! In addition to other learners, our students have unique opportunities to interact and bond in meaningful ways with Ticos (Costa Ricans) in their host families, the school or around town.
