Studying Spanish in Costa Rica was the best decision of my life

Now unfortunately it is my turn to say goodbye and tell about my time at Intercultura Costa Rica. I am speechless because my stay here was truly indescribable. A month ago I could not have imagined having such a unique experience.
I had never traveled alone in a foreign country before.
Today I can say that it was the best decision of my life.
Two weeks planned in Sámara turned into three, strangers became true friends, a completely foreign country gave me a second family and another home.
I thank everyone who contributed to make my trip so wonderful. To my friends for hiking in Monteverde, surfing or just relaxing on the beach. To my professors Iris, Nelson, Carmen and Nelsy who not only taught me grammar and vocabularies, but also introduced me to Costa Rican culture and showed me what “PURA VIDA” really means. I am grateful to the administration and reception staff to whom I could ask any questions and they were always willing to help.
If I didn’t have to go back to work in Germany, I would stay here much longer.
It is really amazing how time passes. There is a quote that says “Wherever you go becomes part of you” – I can approve: It hurts me that the Costa Rica trip is almost over, but the mentality, the culture and everything I could experience here, I will never forget – it will always remain part of my life; part of me.
I hope you who can stay longer, enjoy every second of it, because you are truly studying in paradise.
I am deeply grateful for everything and by the way I don’t say goodbye, but see you later!
