Intercultura has been an important part of my life the past 11 years, and I plan to return again at the end of 2012. My first experience at Intercultura Spanish Language School in Costa Rica was in 2001.

I wanted to study Spanish in a foreign country but was uneasy about choosing the right school and country. I researched many Spanish language schools and for some reason kept coming back to Intercultura. Based on the information provided on their website and very helpful email transactions, Intercultura looked like the language school I wanted to study at.

Soon after arriving at Intercultura in Heredia I realized that I made a very wise choice. I found a well managed school that had much to offer. The teachers were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and conducted classes in a professional manner. Classes were challenging, well organized and fun. Learning a foreign language is a humbling experience, but I felt very comfortable in the classroom at Intercultura. There were many activities after class and on the weekend where I continued to learn as well as meet Costa Ricans and other students from all over the world.

My life has changed because of my first experience at Intercultura. I have returned many times to Costa Rica to visit and study at Intercultura in both Heredia and Samara. These two locations offer unforgettable experiences, one in the city and one at the beach. Even though I am not completely fluent in Spanish, I am able to communicate enough with the Spanish speakers which always results in a better experience. I have also been inspired to travel to other Spanish speaking countries in Central America as well as Spain and Argentina.
