Laura Zúñiga

Spanish Professor

Laura was born in San José, Costa Rica, where she attended university at the UCR, obtaining her BA in Classical Literature and Language Sciences and completing coursework for her MA in Linguistics. She joined Intercultura Heredia in 1999 as a Spanish Professor, and then moved to our Sámara campus in 2003. From 2006 to 2012 Laura lived in Europe, where she taught Spanish in France, Germany and Poland, and then directed her own language school in Munich, Germany, before returning to Costa Rica for family reasons. She rejoined Intercultura’s Sámara campus as Sub-Director, and is in charge of Academic Development and Human Resources. She speaks Spanish, English, French and German fluently, and in her free time enjoys photography, reading and swimming. She is currently completing her MA in Human Resources at ULACIT University.
