
María Fernanda Solís
Fernanda was born in Heredia, but moved to Guanacaste at a young age, where she fell in love with the “Pampa Guanacasteca” (the region is famous for its folklore, natural parks, beaches and cattle ranches). After completing School, she went on to obtain a BA. in Second Language Acquisition at the National University in Nicoya, with a focus on English, before going on to study for her MA in Sustainable Tourism & Development. She loves animals and nature, and in her free time enjoys hiking, reading, listening to music and spending time with her family and pets. Fernanda is known for her kind and patient disposition; she is always willing to help others and enjoys learning about other people and their cultures from Intercultura’s diverse student body.
