Laura’s December Blog…

“This month I thought I’d write answers to some of the more frequent issues that students have before coming. I hope they help you in making your decision.

Every guide book or internet site will tell you the must-sees in Costa Rica (Manuel Antonio, Arenal, Monteverde, to name a few), but my favourites are the ones a little further from the beaten track. They may be a little harder to get to, but they are well worth the effort! After living here for 20 years, here are a few of my must-sees:

Heredia city and province offers culture, nature and fun...and all that just around the corner of our school campus!

One of Costa Rica’s interesting facts is that it has semi-climates along the country.  The Climate Change has definitely created a diverse weather in our country through the years which we cannot follow up easily now.

Ramona, 22 years old and from Germany, was a student with us for 4 weeks. She is now doing some volunteering before she is going to return to Germany in order to continue her apprenticeship at Bosch.  As a little thank you for the whole Intercultura Team, she performed a dance together with our dance teacher Enrique during graduation. All the rehearsals really paid off! Besides improving her Spanish skills, she definitely will take home some amazing Salsa skills. Congratulations Ramona!
