Spanish immersion & adventure vacation for adults 50+
In addition to the year-round classes for adults of all ages offered at Intercultura, we also have specialized programs throughout the year for different interest
groups. Our new Spanish Immersion & Adventure Vacation for Adults 50+ is designed to offer a combined Spanish study and travel program for adults over fifty who are looking for a fun, rewarding experience where you will expand your horizons and go home speaking Spanish!
This program is aimed at anyone with the desire for a new adventure in like-minded company: travelers, students, those needing Spanish for their work, retirees, housewives, grandparents, seniors... In short, if you would like to experience a new country, truly immerse yourself in its culture, and challenge yourself by learning a new language (or perfecting what you already know!), then Intercultura's program is just what you are looking for.
Program Highlights:
Intensive Spanish Language Classes in small groups
Excursions and activities introducing you to Costa Rican Culture
Dance, Cooking, Spanish Film, Yoga, and other weekly activities
Trips to beaches, national parks, and active volcanoes
Lodging, transportation and some meals included

Our three-pronged approach to language acquisition includes innovative and tailored language classes, culture activities based on local customs, and excursions throughout the country that will introduce you to Costa Rica's
fascinating ecological treasures and cultural heritage. You can choose to study at our beach or city campus, or split your time between both. Students are also given the option of living with a local host family or staying in a luxury hotel. Campuses in both locations have beautiful, fully-equipped facilities and spacious, comfortable learning environments. Both also offer a number of extras for students, including; internet, a kitchen, gardens, in- and outdoor study areas, hammocks, lounges, travel desks, multilingual student advisors, and more. We are available via phone or email to answer any questions you might have, and we are happy to give you advice or suggestions to help you plan the perfect trip.
Program Costs and Payment:
$1,450
Includes: Two weeks of intensive Spanish classes, dance and cooking classes, cultural activities, lodging with homestay family, some meals, transportation and tours. (See program schedule for details) NOTE: Hotel stays may be substituted for homestay family lodging for an extra cost, please inquire for details.
Students must pay on or before the first day of classes, by:
-Bank transfer
-Traveler's checks
-Dollars or colones
-Int'l money order
-Credit card (MUST BRING CARD--additional fee's may apply)
No personal checks are accepted, and
credit card numbers cannot be used without the card itself.
