Cesar lives in Santa Lucia de Barva and studied Hotel Administration in the HispanoAmericana University of Heredia, Costa Rica.  Before joining Intercultura in 2011 as the Volunteer Coordinator, Cesar worked in various positions with volunteers and tourism.  His most recent position was as a Research Assistant in a Biological Station in Tortuguero, where he worked with volunteers from around the world on turtle protection projects.  In his free time he continues to do volunteer work with different protected species, especially endangered sea turtles.

When he was a kid: He wanted to be a marine biologist.

Hobbies: Reading, running, and spending time in forests and parks volunteering and enjoying nature

What he likes most about his job: Giving students a wonderful volunteering experience and working with various projects that make Costa Rica a better place.
