Learn Spanish in Costa Rica
Not only is Intercultura dedicated to helping students learn Spanish, we are also committed to contributing to the sustainable development of the communities that host us. We operate on the principals of the www.unglobalcompact.org ">United National Global Compact (certified member) and Corporate Social Responsibility, meaning that we do not simply donate to charities, but rather get involved in meaningful ways to develop projects in literacy, the arts, children's education, women's protective services, gender issues, animal rights, conservation and the environment. 
    We founded and host the non-profit CREAR Association, offering free after-school programs and summer camps to local children. Our staff is active in volunteer initiatives in the community; we serve on the Community Development Committee of the Sámara Tourism Board and are involved in the UN-sponsored Modernization of Local Governance/Agenda 21 CommissionWe also offer logistical support, materials and HR resources to the following non-profit organizations in Heredia & Sámara:
