Salvadora was born in Chontales, Nicaragua, where she lived until moving to Costa Rica in 1989. With her kind and generous personality, she enjoys teaching and looking after children, and worked in this field in Costa Rica before joining Intercultura in 2006. Francisco Jiménez

Francsico was born in Alajuela, where he still lives. Before joining Intercultura in 2006, he worked in supply services, and as the chauffeur for the vice president of Costa Rica. Francisco loves talking to students (in Spanish!), and his hobbies include watching movies and visiting the beach.            Read more »

Carlos Araya

Carlos comes from Heredia and has worked in various educational centers in the area of security, construction and carpentry. He enjoys spending time with his family, is invariably kind and cordial, and takes pleasure in assisting our visitors from other countries with any needs they have during their stay in Costa Rica. Fabián Villalobos

Fabian was born in Santa Barbara, Heredia, where he spent his childhood before moving to Alajuela, where he lived and worked for most of his life as an administrator for the Institute for Social Assistance (IMAS) in the Juan Santamaría airport. Fabian joined Intercultura in 2006, where he works on the weekends as a custodian and is well-loved by students for his kindness and patience. He enjoys swimming, hiking, television and socializing with people he meets in his spare time. He speaks English and Spanish.
